We choose a registered dietitian who is licensed in the patient's state and accepts their insurance.

The patient is scheduled
The dietitian contacts the patient to schedule a telehealth visit. Your office does not need to call around.

Good to know. Medicare covers medical nutrition therapy for diabetes and kidney disease with a physician referral. Please state the diagnosis on the referral.
